Technical Designer

As Technical Designer at Valid, you are crucial in shaping the customer-oriented ICT strategy. You will lead the development, implementation, follow-up and evaluation of the ICT architecture with a roadmap, thus working together with the team to optimally support the client in its business processes.

In brief:

As Technical Designer you are responsible for shaping the ICT strategy of the client organization, with the client at the center. You play a crucial role in the development, implementation, follow-up, monitoring, evaluation and continuous adjustment of the ICT architecture. You do all this by means of a roadmap so that you and your team can help the customer optimally with his business.

Your daily duties will include

Your persuasiveness ensures that the customer trusts you and therefore trusts Valid. In this role you create added value by translating the wishes and needs of the customer into appropriate ICT solutions. In this advice you take into account preconditions such as budgeting, quality, risks, planning and organization. 

  • Function as gatekeeper: You assess new IT concepts against the client's existing and future design;
  • Technological developments: you want our clients to be at the forefront by keeping abreast of the latest trends in ICT. You assess the maturity and applicability of these developments for the client;
  • Support: You support the commercial process leading to the acceptance of projects and changes by the customer;
  • Innovation Sessions: In collaboration with the Service Delivery Manager and the Solution Architect, you will prepare and organize innovation sessions at customer sites.
Your team

Are you a real pace-setter? Good, because you work closely with the Project Manager and Solution Architect(s) to achieve further standardization and scalability in the customer team. In doing so, you will direct the Technical Specialist and Technical Consultant to manage the complex infrastructures at our customers.
Together with the Service Delivery Manager and the team manager, you ensure that the customer is central by monitoring the quality of service and progress.

What we expect from you
  • HBO/WO working and thinking level;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the world of ICT;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in advising, (co)developing and implementing solutions to complex issues;
  • In possession of the necessary certifications.
Salary:

€4200.00 - €6800.00 per month
