Your role

Als Local Support Engineer bij ons ben je dé expert in het oplossen van hard- en software gerelateerde issues. Je hebt een passie voor gadgets en devices, en dankzij jou kunnen eindgebruikers vlekkeloos met hun verschillende apparaten werken. Van het uitleveren en plaatsen van hardware tot het leveren van support; geen dag is hetzelfde. Je plant je eigen werkzaamheden in op basis van de urgentie die is aangegeven in onze Service Management Tooling. Daarnaast beheer je de voorraad en de Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Je maakt deel uit van ons Local Support team en werkt onsite bij een van onze gewaardeerde klant in vooral Amsterdam, maar gelukkig sta je er niet alleen voor. Samen met je collega’s van het klantenteam zorg je voor een optimale ondersteuning. En mocht je hulp nodig hebben, dan staat het Servicedesk team vanuit ons kantoor in Eindhoven paraat. 

Your team

In this role, you will be part of our client team, where you will be responsible for Valid's client locations together with other enthusiastic colleagues and the team manager. You will be the face for our clients' locations, with whom you will build a strong relationship. We encourage regular meetings, where you can spar with colleagues working at other clients or at the Eindhoven office. Occasional visits to our Eindhoven office are appreciated, not only for knowledge sharing but also for fun company outings that we regularly organize!

What we expect from you
  • You have a completed MBO education (level 3 or 4), towards IT;
  • You have experience in a similar role, i.e. either on an IT service desk and/or within a Local (Onsite) Support function;
  • Knowledge of Office365, Windows 11, Smartphones and hardware is important to us;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and also have a good command of the English language;  
  • In deze job is het belangrijk dat je reizen geen probleem vindt, want hoewel je standplaats Amsterdam is, zal je ook veel reizen naar andere locaties in Nederland.
