Our customers are asking for increasingly complex IT solutions, our Service Delivery Manager is generating more changes, and our quotes deserve a more structured approach than "everyone does it their own way." We are looking for someone who will set up this process, take ownership of it, and further professionalize it. Not a role where everything is already running smoothly, quite the contrary. This is building. Sometimes with loose screws and no manual. But with impact, ownership and the space to do it your way.

If you are someone who brings structure to dynamics, combines commercial acumen with technical understanding, and prefers concrete results to meetings, read on.

What will you do?

You will be the lynchpin in complex quotation processes.

  • Analyze and translate: Customers come with IT questions. You translate those into concrete and compelling proposals that we can win.
  • Coordinate: You liaise between Account Executives, Service Delivery Managers, Technical Consultants and suppliers. You make sure everyone is on the same page and the quote goes out the door on time and complete.
  • Technical validation: "We deliver 50 PCs, but are those 45 network connections correct?" You see it, inquire with TDs and Architects, and make sure it's correct before it goes to the customer.

JIyou are commercially minded.

  • Win ratio increase: Our bids must not only be accurate, but competitive. You understand what drives customers, what competitors do, and how we win.
  • Guarding margins: You don't write bids that we lose: not on price, not on quality.
  • Spotting opportunities: When you see a customer needs more, you pass it on. Upsell starts with you.
  • About once a month you will sit down at our client's table during consultations. To discuss outstanding quotes, coordinate with procurement and keep the relationship warm.

You are building the process.
This is not a "just do as it was always done" role. Much of the process does not yet exist. You will set it up, document it and standardize it.
From application to signed contract, you will make it a well-oiled whole. We're implementing a new ITSM system next year. You'll help set that up so it really works.

Who are you?

  • You have 5 to 8 years of experience in inside sales, solution management or bid management within the IT, MSP, hardware or reselling industry.
  • You coordinated complex, multidisciplinary bid processes. With you, sales, engineering and suppliers came together and went well.
  • You write technical quotes as if they were Dutch. You understand engineering without having to be an engineer yourself.
  • You feel at home among people, not locked behind spreadsheets. But those spreadsheets? They do add up to the penny.
