Privacy Statement

1 Privacy policy

Valid offers ICT services such as customized solutions, Cloud services and Consultants. This involves the processing of personal data, also known as personal data. Proper protection of personal data is an important principle for Valid. Valid will only process your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy and in conformity with the applicable AVG legislation.
 

2 Rights

Requests regarding the right to view, correct or delete your own personal data can be made at privacy@valid.nl. If the personal data has been provided to us via one of our clients, you should submit a request to exercise your right to this client. After verification that you are the legitimate requestor, we strive to process requests within 3 weeks. Furthermore, Valid uses an explicit consent procedure for all registrations.
 

3 Purposes

Valid will use the personal data you provide to accept and perform IT-Cloud services, business-IT solutions, IT management, secondment of ICT specialists, offering support services and improving our internal organization, maintaining and expanding our business relationship with you (e.g. through newsletters) and compliance with applicable legislation. In all situations, Valid applies the following principles:

4 Valid as a partner in management

If you engage Valid in the capacity of processor of your personal data, we will enter into a
processor agreement that includes, at a minimum, the following aspects:

Depending on the services and functionalities you purchase as a client, at a minimum the following types of personal data will be processed: names and contact information; data to identify proxy-authorized persons and signers; usernames; passwords and login history.
 

5 Applying for a job at Valid

If you have applied for a job with us and are not hired, all application data will be destroyed no later than 4 weeks after the end of the application process. Only if you have given us your consent Valid can keep this data for up to 1 year.
 

6 Physically visiting Valid

When you visit Valid buildings, your name and the name of the person you visit are recorded. This is to ensure your safety and to comply with FAFS and certification obligations. We keep visitor registrations for as long as necessary to meet these obligations.
 

7 Digital visit to Valid

When using our digital portals, we use cookies. The (personal) data collected with the aid of these cookies are used to ensure the proper functioning of the website and to better adapt the content presented to the needs and wishes of the user. More information about this can be found in the cookie statement. Data that you leave behind on our contact forms are used exclusively for handling your request or contact request.
 

8 Disclosure to third parties

Valid may transfer your personal data within its group, but also to third parties, which are involved in the delivery of the ordered products or services. For example, we use third party infrastructure `(incl. SaaS services) but we also use third party software for contract management, customer relationship management and ICT support. This use is limited to the above purposes. If we provide your data to third parties on our behalf, we will lay down in an agreement with this party how they may process the data, that these data may not be used for other purposes and that they will be removed on first request. Naturally, processing takes place in an appropriately secure environment. Beyond that, we will only pass on your data to third parties when we are legally obliged to do so.
 

9 Security and preservation

We take appropriate security measures to prevent misuse of and unauthorized access to personal data. For example, only necessary persons have access to your data, access is protected, access is logged, and our security measures are checked regularly. If necessary, data is encrypted. ISO27001 is our reference framework for this and Valid Managed Services is certified for this. We do not keep your data longer than necessary to perform our services. Exceptions to this are the data that we must keep longer to comply with legal retention obligation(s) or due to legitimate interest.
 

10 Personal Data Authority

Of course we are happy to help you with complaints about the processing of personal data. If, despite all our efforts, we still cannot work it out together, you have the right under privacy law to file a complaint with the privacy regulator, the Authority for Personal Data (see website of the Authority for Personal Data).
 

11 Amendment and entry into force

Valid may change this privacy statement from time to time with previous versions automatically revoked. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of any changes. This version is effective as of November 1, 2022.
