In brief:

Can you translate complex security risks into clear, practical solutions? As a Security Consultant at Valid, you are the specialist who helps customers protect their critical information and systems. You think strategically, but you also like to roll up your sleeves and get organizations truly secure.

What will you do?

As a Security Consultant, you are the trusted advisor for our clients in the field of information security. You help organizations get their security management in order and professionalize it, taking into account technology, processes, and people. Your responsibilities:

Risk management: You perform risk analyses, identify vulnerabilities and threats, and translate these into concrete security measures. Your advice helps customers keep their risks under control.
Process design & optimization: You set up security management processes for customers and continuously optimize them. You translate complex requirements into workable solutions and help set up Business Continuity Planning.
Consulting & guidance: You analyze security issues and advise on the best approach. You guide customers in the selection and implementation of security measures and assess designs for Security & Privacy by Design.
Monitoring & reporting: You help customers monitor their security measures, perform audits and effectiveness analyses, and report improvement proposals to management.
Consultancy & knowledge sharing: You are a sparring partner for security officers at clients, maintain your network, and build long-term relationships. You provide training courses and presentations in which the quality of your advice convinces people.

What do you bring?

HBO working and thinking level in the field of ICT and/or risk management;
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in information security;
Demonstrable experience in advising and guiding organizations on complex security issues;
CISSP certification; CISA/CISM is an advantage

Location:

You will alternate between working from home and our office in Eindhoven. In addition, you will sometimes visit our (potential) customers on location.
