Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Valid, you are the driving force behind the success of the projects we carry out for our clients. It is your responsibility to ensure that the project runs smoothly.

Here's what you'll be doing

Our project managers often work on large-scale and complex projects for our clients. This is a key role that emphasizes providing guidance and leadership. During the preliminary phase, you will primarily advise the client and collaborate with them. Once the project is underway, you will lead the project and the project team. You are responsible for the project’s success. Of course, you’ll keep the budget and schedule in mind and never lose sight of quality.

To effectively oversee and distinguish between the various components and phases of a project, it is important that you possess strong analytical skills. You understand that you must keep a cool head when problems arise and respond proactively when things threaten to go wrong. Because you know how to convey your enthusiasm to the project team, together you achieve the best results! Collaboration is of the utmost importance, and you are the initiator and driving force behind a project. 

Your team

You’ll be part of the Valid Consultancy unit, which consists of sixty passionate consultants (project and change managers, data managers and engineers, agilists, and business analysts). It’s an ambitious yet friendly team of colleagues. They actively share knowledge; they keep each other on their toes, learn from one another, and are always there to help each other out. In this role, you’ll work as a project manager for various clients. 

What you can expect from us:

• A gross monthly salary between €4,000 and €7,000, depending on your knowledge and experience; 
• Lease car, laptop and other items that will allow you to perform your job optimally anywhere;
• Choice to work 32, 36 or 40 hours per week;

What we expect from you:

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree; 
• You have at least 3 years of experience as a project manager, preferably with data- and/or business-related projects;
• You hold relevant project management certifications;
• You adapt easily and thrive in diverse environments;
• You enjoy contributing to the team’s growth and development;
• You are helpful, a team player, customer-focused, actively committed to your own professional development, and have strong opinions about your field.
