Your role

As a (Local) Support Engineer with us, you’re the go-to expert for resolving hardware and software-related issues. You’re passionate about gadgets and devices, and thanks to you, end users can work seamlessly with their various devices. From delivering and installing hardware to providing support, no two days are the same. Do you thrive on the variety of on-site support and remote support through our service desk? You’ll be part of our Service Support team and will work both onsite at our valued clients’ locations in the central Netherlands region and remotely via our service desk (from home or the office). Together with your colleagues on the client team, you’ll ensure optimal support. And if you ever need help, the Service Desk team at our Eindhoven office is ready to assist. 

Your team

In this role, you will be part of our client team, where you will be responsible for Valid's client locations together with other enthusiastic colleagues and the team manager. You will be the face for our clients' locations, with whom you will build a strong relationship. We encourage regular meetings, where you can spar with colleagues working at other clients or at the Eindhoven office. Occasional visits to our Eindhoven office are appreciated, not only for knowledge sharing but also for fun company outings that we regularly organize!

What we expect from you
  • You have a completed MBO education (level 3 or 4), towards IT;
  • You have experience in a similar role, i.e. either on an IT service desk and/or within a Local (Onsite) Support function;
  • Knowledge of Office365, Windows 11, Smartphones and hardware is important to us;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and also have a good command of the English language;
