Eindhoven, May 8, 2026. Valid Managed Services (VMS) announced today that it is being acquired by DATAGROUP. With this move, VMS joins an international organization with ambitious growth plans in Europe. The acquisition marks an important milestone in the company’s continued development and offers new opportunities for customers, employees, and partners.

A broader range of services and greater freedom of choice

Through its partnership with DATAGROUP, VMS customers gain access to a broader range of IT services and solutions. With the CORBOX platform, DATAGROUP brings together nine service families in which multi-cloud, cybersecurity, compliance, and AI-driven automation are integrated as standard features.

The combination of DATAGROUP’s extensive portfolio and VMS’s customer-centric approach creates a unique proposition: greater scale, deeper expertise, and accelerated digital transformation, supported by one of Europe’s leading IT service providers with approximately 4,000 employees and more than €560 million in revenue.

In addition, the acquisition expands the cloud portfolio for customers by providing access to DATAGROUP’s Corbox Multi-Cloud, which includes a sovereign cloud platform hosted in European data centers. This platform supports data sovereignty and compliance with European regulations, without vendor lock-in. Additional industry-specific cloud solutions are available for sectors with high security and compliance requirements.

Continuity in leadership and service delivery

The current management team, led by Roy van de Kamp, will be responsible for the company’s continued development and growth. In addition, Roy van de Kamp will assume the role of Division Director of European Expansion and report directly to DATAGROUP’s CEO. In this role, he will help implement DATAGROUP’s ambitious European growth strategy leading up to 2030.

Valid Consultancy

Following DATAGROUP’s acquisition of VMS, Valid will focus entirely on the further development and growth of its consulting services. These services are designed to enhance its clients’ ability to execute by successfully implementing changes and helping them become more data-driven.

The transaction is subject to the customary conditions for completion and is expected to be finalized in the coming months.
